Stately and inviting, Sedgwick House in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia, PA had Brooke’s full attention. Taken down to the studs, Sedgwick was a blank slate ready for renovations, design and, of course, staging.
Serving as the project manager for this whole home remodel, Brooke oversaw the demolition and renovation process, concepted a design aesthetic—complete with suggestions for finishes— as well as facilitated communications between the homeowners and contractors. In addition, she sourced materials for the floors, kitchen cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, and selected coordinating furniture and décor.
Brooke also provided renderings along with design recommendations related to electric and plumbing placement, and paint selections and millwork details. She created a plan for the design of the home’s exterior, too, which included a color palette, roofing and window selections, as well as suggestions specific to both hardscaping and landscaping.
